The Department of Information Technology is dedicated to promote learning the various subjects and technologies in the field of information technology.
The learning outcomes of the programme is as follows:
• Technical Aptitude: Learning information Technology emphasizing the knowledge of programming, hardware organization, operating systems, theory of computation and principles of programming language.
• Effective Communication: Employees in the digital age must be able effectively convey and receive messages. Good communication skills will help get hired and be successful throughout the career.
• Moral Philosophy: Incorporating human values and morality by responsibly accepting the roles to work for the sustainable development of self and society.

COURSE OUTCOME
F.Y.BSC-IT SEM I
COMMUNICATION SKILL: A learner will be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form and demonstrate Knowledge of professional and ethical responsibilities.
IMPERATIVE PROGRAMMING ; 1.Translate basic functional idioms into imperative ones.
2.Design simple loops, using invariants to explain why they work correctly.
DISCRETE MATHEMATICS: 1.A number of recurring themes, and a set of general principles that have broad application to the field of computer science and discrete mathematics 1 The social, legal, ethical, and cultural issues inherent in the discipline of computing.
2. That software systems are used in many different domains. This requires both computing skills and domain knowledge.
OPERATING SYSTEM 1.Student will learn important computer system resources and their management policies, algorithms used by operating systems.

1.The course treats the concept of green IT, environmental perspectives on IT use and standards and certifications related to sustainable IT products.
The course also deals with methods and tools to measure energy consumption and efforts to improve energy efficiency in the use of IT with a focus on computer centers.
WEB PROGRAMMING
1. Students shall have understood basic concepts of computer graphics.
2. Students shall have understood algorithms to scan convert the basic geometrical primitives, transformations, Area filling, clipping.
NUMERICAL AND STASTICAL MATH;
1.Understand the various approaches dealing the data using theory of probability. Analyze the different samples of data at different level of significance using various• hypothesis testing.
